How do I get started?

I do not have a web site, I just attach to my email.  I'm not sure I have done it right or not.  I would like step by step instructions on how to insert the link into my email signature.

I don't understand fully how to track credit I receive for my sales.  Could you please kindly explain?

When you find a website that you think would be a good place to put a link, who do you talk to at that website to find out how and if you can put your link?
